SHOWROOM MANAGER            

                                                                                                                               

Pop & Scott are currently seeking an energetic and committed showroom manager to join our Melbourne showroom and workshop.

Based in Northcote and reporting to the General Manager and company directors you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the showroom as well as dealing with all customer service enquiries both in person, by email and over the phone. The right person for this role will be able to drive retail sales opportunities and develop strong and authentic relationships with customers.

A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service is essential as well as exceptional communication, both written and verbal.  You will be required to provide prompt and accurate communication, process orders and follow sales from the initial enquiry through to delivery.  Excellent attention to detail is essential.

As the public face of the Pop & Scott showroom you must have a positive attitude and be well presented.

The successful candidate will have:

3+ years of proven customer service experience

3+ years of proven sales experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Shopify, Trade Gecko and Xero or an ability to learn quickly on the job

Able to follow procedures

Attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and deal with all customer enquiries

A passion for interiors and design

Be energetic and proactive

Highly regarded:

Experience in interiors or a design or related field.

GENERAL/OPERATIONS MANAGER

                                                                                                                               

Pop & Scott are currently seeking a talented General/Operations Manager to join our Melbourne Workshop.

The position will report to the company founders/directors and will oversee and continually improve the day to day running of Pop & Scott which includes manufacturing custom and made to order furniture and homewares as well as two active retail showrooms, one in Northcote and one in Byron Bay.

The right person for this role will be able to motivate and lead a team of employees as well as providing an overview of improvements to be made to the company directors. You will have sound financial acumen and be able to implement efficiency and productivity strategies with positivity.

A passion for delivering the highest level of product to our customers; both in retail, trade and commercial is essential.

There is a great deal of autonomy in the role and to be effective you must be extremely organised, with strong attention to detail and possess the ability to respond quickly and prioritize.

The successful candidate will have:

3+ years’ experience in a general manager position

A solid understanding of the process of creating custom and made to order furniture and homeware products

Flexible, hands on, and innovative approach

Outstanding interpersonal, communication and time management skills

Ability to train others and manage a team of full time, part time and casual staff

A proactive and resilient approach

The ability to work to tight deadlines

A love of taking ownership and responsibility

Multitask - switching from day to day operations to the overview of a general manager
